It has been almost 3 months since my first blog went live on September 3rd and what a 3 months they have been. I remember my first blog vividly, I had decided to do a How to Install Joe Nobody add-on. However prior to that i had contacted Kodicommunity several weeks before expressing an interest in doing some blogs, not really expecting anything to come of it. I had literally no experience, minimal knowledge about Kodi and no idea what i was getting myself into.
Fast forward several weeks and I receive a message. How do you fancy putting together a blog? Oops, now what do I do? Hell yes, but where do I start?
This is where Jordan and Ian come in with some gentle persuasion and a few tips on where to start and how to put together. Should be no problem right? I put together processes at work, why not here. Back to Joe Nobody, great add-on bringing some great advice and reviews, how do I get that across, more to the point I have never used WordPress before.
Keep it Stupid Simple is an acronym from the US Navy that rings true which I stuck too. It took a few hours which when looking back is a simple how to. Completed, I asked Jordan to take a look and give me the go ahead. Few corrections and hit the button. Boy was I nervous.
3 months later 50 blogs posted. WOW how did I manage that. I have to say I have enjoyed every minute of it, it is sometimes difficult to find new stuff especially when you have the calibre of Jordan blogging alongside you but I feel happy with my small contribution to Kodicommunity which is turning out to be a superb place to be part of and also to learn about all things Kodi.
For all those potential bloggers out there. Take the plunge and get in touch.
