Sportsdevil is a great addon for sports but Castaway can become better if it isn’t already. Castaway is supported by one of the best developers on KODI scene, Natko1412, that will certainly have a lot of official updates and support!
The add-on looks very similar but if you take a closer look at the code inside the add-on you can see that Natko1412 has re-written all the code from scratch, in a lot cleaner way and even if Sportsdevil is still a great addon you can easily immagine that you can not really compete against one of the greatest developers out there in the KODI community, backed up also by the biggest developing group which is TV Addons.
For best experiencing Castaway be sure to have Acestream and Sopcast also installed, my personal recommendation is using Plexus as shown in the video!
Install instructions:
- Go to SYSTEM and select from the submenu FILE MANAGER
- Double click on ADD SOURCE
- Enter http://fusion.tvaddons.ag/ and click DONE
- Select NONE and enter TVAddons, click on DONE and then OK
- Go to HOME once again and select SYSTEM
- Select INSTALL FROM ZIP FILE
- Select the red icon label TVAddons
- Select xbmc-repos
- Select english
- Donwload the repository.natko1412-X.X.X.zip
- As soon as the repository has been refreshed select INSTALL FROM REPOSITORY
- Select Natko’s Add-on repository
- Select VIDEO ADDONS
- Select Castaway and hit on INSTALL
- Congrats! you have successfully installed the add-on!
